Some of my memories of Amy

Created by Debbie 13 years ago
Dearest Amy, It doesn't feel like it but I have known you most of my adult life, and we have so many memories. From the first time I met you with Sards on New Year's Eve 1995 and we went to that club down Brick Lane, and you wanted to leave, we were like " noooo Amy, you gotta stay till midnight at least" But then you got talking to a tall dark fellow-clubber and all was well again. Then we lived together and it was so natural to live with you. You made the best mash potato, and we went on a health kick which lasted about a day! Remember we got the abdominiser out of the cupboard and said we would do 30 mins every day, but after approx 1 hour we decided to put a pillow on it and made it into a seat to sit on while we watched TV! Then we bought all that bottled water online, about 40 bottles, the delivery guy thought we were having a party! Over the years you have been so funny, but also you give me the best advice. You have always been on my side, and I love the way you always said it how it was. I would always tell you about things like any arguments with my other friends, and you'd give me your no-nonsense reply which was exactly what I needed to hear. It was always so nice coming over and sitting in your garden, we could talk for England and 4 hours would go by in a flash. You were so well-read too, and always texting me book suggestions to read. One day I will actually take up these suggestions so I can see why you liked them so much. My memories of you will never die Amy, and as time goes on they become more precious. Like fine wine or cheese, my memories of you get better with age xxx
